About Renewal by Andersen

From Our Factory to Your Home

At Renewal by Andersen, home is at the heart of everything we do. Founded in Minnesota in 1995 as the full-service window and door replacement division of Andersen Corporation—an American company with roots dating back to 1903—Renewal by Andersen has grown into one of the most trusted replacement companies in the window industry. Today, we are in more than 100 markets across the U.S. and Canada, and have earned more than one million homeowner recommendations*.

Each of our windows and entry doors is designed and assembled right here in the United States. From our flagship campus in Cottage Grove, Minnesota, to homeowners across North America, we ship custom products crafted with pride. Every homeowner receives not only a beautiful product but an exceptional experience.

Let's take a closer look at our story—from our rich legacy of innovation and job creation to our commitment to giving back to the communities where we live and work.

A Legacy of Quality and Innovation

Innovation doesn’t stop at our windows—it’s part of everything we do, including the work happening behind the scenes at our corporate offices.

Our teams of engineers, designers, and researchers are constantly pushing the limits of what’s possible in window and door design. They spend countless hours testing materials, perfecting designs, and engineering solutions to create high-performance products that are built to last.

Our dedication to quality and innovation has led to unwavering customer satisfaction. Renewal by Andersen has earned more five-star reviews than other leading full-service window replacement companies** and is ranked #1 in Customer Satisfaction with Window and Patio Door Manufacturer Brands, for the 6th year in a row by J.D. Power+. But what matters even more is the impact behind those accolades: more than 12 million windows have been manufactured and delivered to families who trusted us to provide quality products for their homes.

Custom Built in the USA, Start to Finish

When we say our products are “Custom built in the USA,” we mean it—our windows are manufactured domestically using U.S. and imported parts.

Each project begins at our newly expanded, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Cottage Grove, Minnesota—just downriver from where Andersen Corporation began over a century ago. There, skilled team members handcraft every window to order with precision and pride from mostly U.S. parts with some of the best hardware we can find worldwide.

Investing in American Manufacturing Jobs and Strengthening Communities

At our Cottage Grove facility alone, we employ approximately 1,424 manufacturing professionals, with approximately 900 jobs planned as we prepare to open a new manufacturing facility in Locust Grove, Georgia in 2026.

The impact goes beyond job creation. Through our Renewal Cares program, Renewal by Andersen and our retail network support over 100 local charities across the United States. Whether that’s helping a veteran with a new patio door or replacing all the windows of a youth camp, we’re supporting the communities where our employees live and work.

We’re especially proud to support the American Cancer Society (ACS) in their fight to improve the lives of those impacted by cancer. Since launching our United Against Cancer campaign, we’ve raised nearly 4 million dollars in support of advocacy, research, and patient care. We’ve also replaced windows in multiple ACS Hope Lodges, which provide free lodging for patients undergoing treatment.

These efforts are part of a larger cycle: local workers assemble exceptional products; satisfied customers share their stories; demand grows and local economies thrive.

Building the Future, One Window at a Time

As we look ahead, one truth remains clear: doing everything we can to prioritize domestic manufacturing is vital—for our environment, our economy, and our resilience.
