The purpose of this position is to manage the post-sale field and installation operations within the designated market to assure delivery of outstanding service and quality throughout all phases of the process.
Job Details
Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Develop and implement lean processes within the field operations to ensure continuous improvement. • Manage the installation and service processes within the branch to assure that installation standards are consistently upheld. Manages installation, technician and service capacity to assure levels are sufficient to meet branch demands and allow for growth. • Manage technical measures: maximize efficiency, reduce remakes, and increase first time through. • Participate as a part of the branch leadership team in achieving annual operating goals and general leadership of the branch. • Maximize profitability by managing material and sub-contractor labor costs. • Manage the accounts receivable and payable functions to ensure payables are processed in a timely manner, manage subcontractor payments, proper close-out of jobs and manual check requests. • Responsible for leading branch functions to support compliance and safety to include; permitting, environmental reporting, and safety program. • Responsible for: installation process managers, service manager and service/install technician Teams. Supervisory Responsibilities * Supervises 2 to 10 employees Qualifications: * Four-year degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. * Three to five years of proven management experience. * Basic knowledge of operation processes/IT systems. * Basic understanding of installation processes and requirements. * Basic Lean process skills. * Basic financial knowledge. * Strong communication skills. * Strong problem solving and customer resolution skills. * Developing coaching skills.
